How do I access my DMD Hosting email on Microsoft Outlook?
- In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.
- On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select "Add a new e-mail account" and click Next.
- For your server type, select "POP3" and click Next.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information as follows:
Your Name
Enter your first and last name.
E-mail Address
Enter your e-mail address.
User Name
Enter your e-mail address, again.
Password
Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account.
Incoming mail server (POP3)
Your incoming server is mail.yourdomain.com, where "yourdomain.com" is the name of your domain.
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Enter mail.yourdomain.com for your outgoing mail server.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish
How do I access my DMD Hosting email on Mac Mail?
- In Mac Mail, select Mail > Preferences.
- Click on the Accounts tab.
- Click on the plus sign at the bottom of the window.
- Under General Information fill in the information as follows:
Account Type
POP
Account Description
This will be the designator for your account in Mac Mail.
Full Name
This is how your name will appear in outgoing emails.
Email Address
This is the email address you will be setting up. e.g. example@yourdomain.com
- Click continue to the Incoming Mail Server setup, and enter your information as follows:
Incoming mail server
Your incoming server is mail.yourdomain.com, where "yourdomain.com" is the name of your domain.
Username
Enter your full email address as your username. e.g. example@yourdomain.com
Password
Enter your password into this field. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Click Continue. On the incoming mail security setup, choose password, and click continue.
- In the Outgoing Mail Server setup enter the fields as follows:
Outgoing Mail Server
Enter mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is the name of your domain.
Username
Enter your full email address as your username. e.g. example@yourdomain.com
Password
Enter your password into this field. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Click Continue
- Click Done
How do I access my DMD Hosting email on Mac Mail?
- In the URL field of your Web browser type in http://webmail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is the name of your domain.
- Select the following for the fields:
Account Type
POP3 Server
Username
Enter your full email address as your username. e.g. example@yourdomain.com
Password
Enter your password into this field. Passwords are case-sensitive.
Language
Enter the language in which you desire the Web mail program to display.
